AMOS Group Transportation 262 $74M Singapore SAP SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) Warehouse Management 2019 n/a In 2019 AMOS Group deployed SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) to formalize Warehouse Management across its transportation warehousing operations. The implementation was scoped to support core warehouse activities including receipt of inventory, documentation, order processing, distribution operations, inbound and outbound handling, cycle count programs and annual stock take processes managed by the warehouse team. SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) was configured to reflect physical changes to the facility, including a completed three level extended warehouse with pallet racking planning and a completed new bin location system in the ERP. Configuration work emphasized bin management, warehouse order orchestration, inventory integrity controls and support for RFID tagging, with an active project to deploy RFID tag solutions to the warehouse inventory. The EWM rollout was integrated with the company ERP SAP stack as part of an ERP system startup project for the warehousing module, enabling inventory and procurement coordination. Operational integrations and handoffs were implemented with Logistics for container inbound and unstuffing, with Procurement on stock purchase and storage capacity, with Sales for inventory display during RFQs, and with QHSSE for workplace safety adherence. Governance and operational change included formalized work process flows, written picking and receiving instructions, training and onboarding for warehouse staff, scheduled MHE maintenance planning, and reporting of warehouse space, productivity and inventory statistics to the Executive Vice President Group Operations. Completed project signals include migration of inventory back from an external warehouse, the three level racking and bin location implementation, while ERP warehousing startup and RFID inventory tagging remain ongoing.
