Angus Chemical Company Oil, Gas and Chemicals 350 $50M United States SAP SAP ERP ECC 6.0 - Quality Management (QM) Quality Management 2015 n/a In 2015, Angus Chemical Company implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 - Quality Management (QM) as part of a coordinated SAP ERP rollout. The deployment integrated Quality Management into the broader SAP footprint for the 350-employee United States chemicals manufacturer, aligning quality controls with core operational processes. The implementation covered SAP ERP ECC modules MM, IM, SD, LE, PP, QM, PM, FI, and CO, with SAP ERP ECC 6.0 - Quality Management (QM) configured to support inspection planning, inspection lot processing, results recording, quality notifications, and nonconformance handling. Configuration work focused on embedding QM workflows into procurement receipt inspection, in-process production inspections, and finished goods release, using standard QM functional processes for inspection plans and record management. Integrations were explicitly constructed with external warehouse management systems and external transportation management systems, enabling inspection triggers from inbound goods receipts and inspection status flows into distribution and shipping processes. The Quality Management implementation was functionally integrated with materials management, production planning, plant maintenance, sales and distribution, and financial posting flows to ensure end-to-end traceability from procurement through manufacturing to shipping. Governance and rollout were executed by an internal cross-functional implementation team, and the program completed a full SAP implementation in less than six months, covering all listed core modules and the external WMS and TMS integrations. The project narrative records that the SAP ERP ECC 6.0 - Quality Management (QM) deployment was successfully completed within that condensed timeframe, establishing centralized QM processes across procurement, production, maintenance, distribution, and finance.
