Gordon Food Service Distribution 20000 $23.0B United States o9 Solutions o9 Solutions Demand Planning Demand Forecasting and Planning 2020 n/a In 2020, Gordon Food Service implemented o9 Solutions Demand Planning as a core Demand Forecasting and Planning capability across its US Supply Chain organization. The o9 Solutions Demand Planning deployment targeted demand planners and the newly defined Demand and Replenishment teams, formalizing forecast orchestration and planner workflows within the supply chain planning function. The implementation delivered demand modeling and forecasting workflows, planner pages and reports, and a Product Loss Dashboard built for planner consumption, with the o9 Solutions Demand Planning application configured to support scenario-based forecasts and planner-facing pages. User acceptance testing and extensive documentation were executed by supply chain systems analysts, and new reports and pages were created to support day-to-day planning activities. The systems team maintained interface design, testing and defect management responsibilities across the broader supply chain stack, work that previously included SAP S4 HANA integration projects handled by the same analysts. This positioned the o9 deployment to operate alongside existing enterprise systems without naming a specific integration pattern for the o9 implementation. Governance for the rollout included daily standups, backlog refinement, and writing and prioritizing user stories to direct engineering work, plus a structured rollout and training plan created to support the role split into Demand and Replenishment. The project produced best practice process flow charts, checklists, the Product Loss Dashboard, and tailored reports intended to help improve service level, reduce spoilage and liquidation, and optimize inventory turns.
Electrolux North America Manufacturing 10900 $3.9B United States FarEye FarEye IDM Platform Real-Time Transportation Visibility 2020 n/a In 2020 Electrolux North America implemented the FarEye IDM Platform for Real-Time Transportation Visibility to establish an operational link between showroom sales and supplier-driven fulfillment workflows, addressing the need to move orders along digitally while preserving in-person product touchpoints as articulated by Bill McCoy, Director of Last Mile Logistics. The FarEye IDM Platform was positioned as the operational layer for visibility into last mile movements and showroom-connected fulfillment across Electrolux North America. The deployment focused on Real-Time Transportation Visibility capabilities common to the category, including continuous shipment tracking, dynamic ETA calculation, exception management, and delivery orchestration. Configuration emphasized vendor and order level event visibility, customer notifications for showroom buyers, and routing and execution controls for last mile carriers and drivers, leveraging the FarEye IDM Platform’s orchestration and visibility modules. Implementation prioritized electronic connectivity with supplier networks to move orders digitally from showroom commitment to fulfillment, extending visibility into the care of the last mile and enabling coordination between suppliers, carriers, and customer care. Operational coverage included last mile logistics, customer care, and showroom fulfillment workflows within Electrolux North America, with the FarEye IDM Platform serving as the central visibility instance that surfaces events and ETAs to stakeholders. Governance and process changes centered on instrumenting a single visibility workflow to replace fragmented tracking, standardizing event schemas between showroom sales and supplier shipments, and creating escalation paths for exceptions that engage customer care and last mile operations. The program emphasized operational orchestration and workflow restructuring rather than point solutions, embedding the FarEye IDM Platform as the authoritative source of transportation status for showroom connected fulfillment.
