Agilisys | Professional Services | 978 | $128M | United Kingdom | Qlik | Qlik Sense | Analytics and BI | 2019 | n/a | In 2019, Agilisys implemented Qlik Sense as the primary platform for its Data & Insights practice to support analytics work across public sector engagements in healthcare and local government. The Qlik Sense deployment was positioned to centralize visualization and reporting capabilities used by consulting teams working directly with senior stakeholders, enabling structured delivery of bespoke analytics products and dashboards for client-facing projects. The implementation focused on standard Analytics and BI functional capabilities, including interactive dashboards, scheduled reporting, ad hoc visualizations, and self-service analytics for analysts and data scientists. Qlik Sense was configured to surface metrics tied to customer acquisition, operational efficiency and statutory reporting, while downstream artifacts were supported by assembled data sets and ETL workflows built with SQL and AWS big data technologies to feed the Qlik Sense data model. Operational integration extended to a wide range of source systems, from Excel spreadsheets to relational databases, and leveraged multi-region cloud infrastructure to keep data separated and secure across national boundaries. The deployment explicitly supported use cases such as statutory returns and subject access requests, and provided tooling and pipeline outputs consumed by Executive, Product, Data and Design teams as part of cross-functional delivery. Governance and delivery practices were governed by consultant-led stakeholder engagement, requirement definition, and iterative solution design, with explicit attention to data quality rules, cleansing activities and process automation to reduce manual reporting work. The Qlik Sense Analytics and BI implementation at Agilisys was embedded with role-based workflows, mentorship and project management practices to sustain the analytics product lifecycle and support scaling of the Data & Insights practice. | |
