The implementation positioned 3i Infotech ORION HR and Payroll Management as the core system of record for employee master data, payroll calculation, and statutory reporting within the company environment. Configuration focused on core HR and payroll management capabilities, including employee lifecycle records, payroll calculation engines, payroll runs and statutory outputs, and HR administrative workflows. The deployment leveraged standard HCM functional constructs such as payroll processing, employee data management, and payroll reporting while aligning configuration to local UAE payroll compliance and multi-branch operational requirements. The ORION HR and Payroll Management instance was integrated into a broader ERP and operational technology landscape, linking to Orion Finance, Orion Workshop, Orion Vehicle Procurement modules, and Orion Fleet. Integrations also connected HR and payroll to fleet and operations platforms ARMADA, Cabman, ESalik and Efine system, and to telecommunication platforms AVAYA and Panasonic to support operations and communications workflows. Project governance was IT led, with the Group IT Head responsible and accountable for the smooth running of computer systems within requirements, specifications, costs, and timelines for all branches, and playing an instrumental role from project inception through implementation. Operational scope included HR, payroll, finance interfacing, fleet and workshop operations, and telecommunications, with system stewardship consolidated under corporate IT governance and program controls.
