The engagement positioned Amazon Lex as the conversational front end to improve how customers interact with Airbus digital information sources and to surface semantic search capabilities across disparate content. Amazon Lex was configured to provide natural language understanding, intent classification, dialogue management and multi-turn conversations, aligning with standard conversational AI workflows. Technical handoff plans were created to translate research prototypes into industrialized deployments with Airbus IT, emphasizing modular Lambda functions, conversational models in Amazon Lex, and search index orchestration. Governance emphasized iterative release, compliance awareness and cross-functional coordination between R and T, IT and Customer Services teams. The stated outcome for the implementation was a measurable step toward improving customer satisfaction through more effective conversational engagement and search within Airbus information assets.
