Australians Together Non Profit 50 $5M Australia EmploymentHero EmploymentHero Onboarding Onboarding 2024 n/a In 2024, Australians Together implemented EmploymentHero Onboarding to centralize new-hire intake and official employee records for a lean not-for-profit with a dispersed workforce across Australia. EmploymentHero Onboarding became the single place for collecting tax and personal details, storing signed policies, tracking payroll details and maintaining an asset register for new starters, aligning with the organisation's four-week Asana-based orientation workflow. The deployment extended beyond basic intake to incorporate platform modules for performance management and recruitment as part of the broader Employment Hero environment. The performance module was configured with reflection questions, goal assessments, values alignment and a star-based rating system to replace document-based reviews, while the recruitment module introduced candidate tracking, job posting and salary benchmarking into the HR lifecycle. Operationally the implementation integrated with Australians Together existing Asana onboarding sequence by offloading official data capture and storage to EmploymentHero Onboarding, preserving the organisation's task-driven onboarding schedule while centralizing authoritative records in the HR platform. The scope covered people and culture processes across managers and employees, and positioned EmploymentHero Onboarding as the secure source of truth for compliance artifacts and new-starter assets. Rollout was governed by an internal change program led by the People and Culture Coordinator, using short tutorial videos and hands-on support to drive adoption and manager self-service. Governance changes included standardised performance conversations, mid-year check-ins using the platform, and recruiters relying on built-in benchmarking for offer planning. Outcomes reported in the case study were operational clarity and time savings, specifically a reduction in administrative time estimated at half a day to a full day per week for the People and Culture lead, improved manager visibility into direct reports and increased employee confidence in accessing job descriptions and policies through EmploymentHero Onboarding.
