Electrix International | Manufacturing | 150 | $18M | United States | IFS | IFS ERP | ERP Financial | 2018 |
In 2018, Electrix International implemented IFS ERP. The deployment focused on ERP Financial capabilities to centralize core finance and accounting functions and provide a unified platform for statutory reporting and internal financial controls.
The IFS ERP implementation configured standard financial modules including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed asset accounting, and financial reporting, with configuration workstreams addressing chart of accounts rationalization, period close workflows, and reconciliation automation. The implementation emphasized ERP Financial functional workflows such as transaction posting, period close orchestration, and statutory reporting sequencing to align day to day accounting operations with corporate finance governance.
Anthesis served as the system integrator, managing configuration, testing, user acceptance, and go live coordination for IFS ERP. Operational coverage included finance, accounting, and procurement stakeholders at Electrix International, with governance established through role based access controls, approval workflow definitions, and formal month end process ownership to standardize financial control and operational handoffs.

Chemigraphic | Manufacturing | 137 | $27M | United Kingdom | IFS | IFS Cloud ERP | ERP Financial | 2018 |
In 2018, Chemigraphic implemented IFS Cloud ERP using IFS Applications 10 as an entirely cloud based deployment, positioning the project within the ERP Financial category. The implementation began in May 2018 and was executed primarily out of Chemigraphic’s Crawley site, covering approximately 75 system users across manufacturing and office operations. Anthesis acted as the implementation partner and led the project delivery from launch through testing and go live.
The IFS Cloud ERP deployment included core IFS modules for Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Projects, Financials, Warehousing, CRM, HR and Maintenance, with configuration and testing spanning both functional and technical consultancy. Chemigraphic adopted handheld devices for warehousing data capture in addition to office based IFS Applications 10 usage, reflecting mixed-device operational workflows and mobile inventory processes.
Architecturally the solution was completely hosted on Microsoft Azure, delivering a cloud only deployment model for IFS Applications 10. Anthesis resourced the rollout with a six consultant delivery team led by Mike Evans, while a Chemigraphic taskforce led by Technical Director Stewart Gadd and NPI and Sales Systems Manager Alex Cook provided internal governance and subject matter leadership.
Governance and rollout emphasized a joint project management model and iterative testing cycles to embed the application across business functions. Reported outcomes from Chemigraphic include improved operational efficiency, superior planning, better forecasting and enhanced capacity management as the business moved enterprise processes onto a single IFS Cloud ERP platform.

TechnipFMC | Oil, Gas and Chemicals | 25027 | $7.8B | United Kingdom | IFS | IFS ERP | ERP Financial | 2018 |
In 2018, TechnipFMC implemented IFS ERP as an ERP Financial initiative focused initially at its Le Trait manufacturing site, with a planned rollout to sister manufacturing operations in Malaysia and the UK. The programme targeted harmonising manufacturing processes, standardising data, improving resource performance and facilitating information exchange between functional domains, applying best practices in the installation of IFS ERP.
The IFS ERP implementation included configuration and custom development across project accounting and manufacturing finance, notably custom GL posting routines to capture manufacturing project price sheet details and mechanisms to post cross charges to GL vouchers. Time recording controls were implemented through interfaces to an inhouse T&A system, and supplier payment outputs and employee expense remittances were designed to meet France, Malaysia and UK statutory and business formats. Reporting and expediting capabilities were delivered using PL/SQL, Crystal Reports and SQL to automate procurement authorisation notices, time reporting and invoice follow up.
Architecturally the deployment used BizTalk as the integration middleware to unify Suppliers, Customers and Projects with a corporate data management system, and to link IFS ERP with a bespoke quality management system. An interface was designed to exchange data with a dot net web application to manage interdepartmental cross charging, and additional interfaces validated and controlled time data flows into IFS. Data migration was executed in collaboration with Cap Gemini, following a sequenced approach to data mapping, translation, extraction from source systems, business user verification and population into IFS ERP.
Governance and operational handoffs were formalised by embedding an Anthesis senior consultant, Colin Hobley, into the project team, he acted as the primary technical and business contact and coordinated the data migration subproject with Cap Gemini. Process owners collaborated on report specifications and monitoring tools, and the project team tuned the IFS application layer by monitoring connectivity logs and using the IFS event handler to align business logic with operational requirements.
TechnipFMC retained Anthesis for specialist IFS consultancy throughout the roll out, and due to a positive engagement outcome Technip and Anthesis planned further collaboration as they continued to expand IFS ERP across manufacturing sites. The implementation emphasized integration, standardisation and governance across finance, procurement, project accounting, quality and time recording domains.
