The deployment established a Core Model, a basic configurable template for expense and travel processes, enabling localized country specific rules and controls. Functional capabilities delivered through SAP Concur Expense included expense submission, automated approval routing, policy enforcement, receipt capture, and travel and expense reconciliation workflows. Configuration work emphasized parameterized country profiles to preserve local compliance and policy differences while maintaining a standardized transaction model.
Integration effort addressed interfaces between SAP Concur Expense and the existing SAP configurations in the USA and Brazil, designed to synchronize financial master data and transaction flows while the Nautilus solution remained in place in France during the transition. Arago Consulting acted as the implementation partner coordinating technical integration, configuration, and multiwave deployments across the multinational footprint. Operational coverage included finance, HR, procurement, travel management, and local entity teams.
A structured project team brought together finance, HR, IT, procurement, and local entity representatives with strong governance both at headquarters and in the various entities. Rollout used successive waves based on the Core Model to accelerate local adoption and limit configuration drift, supported by centralized change control and local change boards to manage exceptions and rollout sequencing. SAP Concur Expense was positioned as the standardized Expense Management platform to rationalize processes and align policy enforcement across Bic.

Governance changes included adoption of a global process model with country level localisation, a central HRIS support model operated with Arago Consulting, and a phased rollout governance structure to control scope and language adaptation. Reported outcomes from the engagement included substantial progress in digitising the workplace, a unique system to manage employee data and HR processes, time savings in talent management and recruitment, improved regulatory compliance, and stronger HR reporting and compensation management, positioning HR as a business partner for management.
