Cornerstone Healthcare Group Holding, Inc | Healthcare | 1500 | $200M | United States | Oracle | Oracle Cloud ERP | ERP Financial | 2017 |
In 2017, Cornerstone Healthcare Group Holding, Inc implemented Oracle Cloud ERP to consolidate enterprise financial management and address the complexity of an upcoming acquisition, the deployment aligning to the ERP Financial category. Centroid served as the system integrator and led the implementation effort with a fixed go-live target of September 1, a timeline under six months that drove an intensive planning phase.
Centroid and Cornerstone mapped accounting and transaction workflows in detail, then configured Oracle Cloud ERP modules typical to ERP Financial deployments including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, and financial reporting. Reporting was prioritized, with Centroid building and validating reports for Day 1, and training Cornerstone staff on a drag-and-drop reporting tool so business users could extend reports without developer intervention.
The project used Centroid’s proprietary cloud integrator to connect disparate data sources and provide consolidated insight into acquisition and parent company transactions, enabling enterprise-wide financial visibility across Cornerstone’s 18 facilities in 6 states. Operational coverage focused on finance and accounting functions across properties and corporate finance, with the cloud deployment centralizing transaction recording and cross-entity reporting.
Governance and process work included weeks of collaborative accounting process workshops that standardized property-level procedures and budget controls, and a change management emphasis on report ownership and user training. The go-live was reported as seamless and on time, and post-implementation outcomes explicitly included reduced effort for reporting, standardized financial and budgeting processes across properties, and improved insight into enterprise financial transactions through Oracle Cloud ERP.

Edw. C. Levy Co. | Construction and Real Estate | 1200 | $328M | United States | Oracle | Oracle E-Business Suite | ERP Financial | 2020 |
In 2020, Edw. C. Levy Co. implemented Oracle E-Business Suite as an ERP Financial deployment on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to move its non-production back-office applications to the cloud under a general cloud transformation vision. Centroid served as the systems integrator and determined Oracle Cloud Infrastructure provided the fastest and most secure option for rapid provisioning and long term flexibility.
The implementation centered on Oracle E-Business Suite with Oracle Database and custom applications running on OCI compute, leveraging Java Cloud Service for middleware and Oracle Object and Block Storage for data persistence. Oracle Analytics Cloud Service was included to support reporting and analytics on back-office data. Centroid also designed and provisioned DRaaS in OCI to provide business continuity and nearly instantaneous environment spin up for non-production stacks.
The program covered non-production back-office environments and impacted financial management and related back-office operations. Integrations were architected between Oracle E-Business Suite, the Oracle Database, analytics services, and OCI storage to retain existing custom application workloads within the cloud tenancy.
Centroid delivered turnkey services including cloud design and build out, technology deployment, failover testing, cut over activities, and ongoing managed services to support governance and operational handoff. The project reached near completion in weeks, including comprehensive testing and a new cloud architecture build. The cloud based design and DRaaS approach reduced disaster recovery cost by 30 percent versus traditional on premises disaster recovery and eliminated the need for on premises license and infrastructure management, enabling ongoing time and cost relief. The success of this rollout led Edw. C. Levy Co. to scope additional cloud initiatives with Centroid.
