Granite Partners | Banking and Financial Services | 50 | $5M | United States | Oracle | NetSuite CPQ AI Assistant | Chatbots and Conversational AI | 2022 |
In 2022, Granite Partners consolidated multiple portfolio companies onto NetSuite and adopted NetSuite CPQ to unify quoting across its United States operations. Deloitte Digital supported the Oracle NetSuite CPQ implementation, and the deployment incorporated the NetSuite CPQ AI Assistant as a conversational layer to assist sales users in quote construction and validation, aligning the company with the Chatbots and Conversational AI application category.
The implementation focused on core Configure Price Quote workflows, including centralized quote configuration, pricing rules, automated bill of materials and routing automation, and quote-to-order orchestration. NetSuite CPQ was configured to enforce standardized product catalogs and pricing logic across portfolio entities, while the NetSuite CPQ AI Assistant provided conversational guidance for quoting, helping surface configuration constraints and pricing policies during sales interactions.
Integrations centered on closing the loop between sales quoting and NetSuite ERP financial and manufacturing records, connecting sales-to-manufacturing and finance processes for order orchestration and billing continuity. Operational scope covered Granite Partners portfolio companies across the United States, with CPQ usage scoped to sales, manufacturing planning and finance functions, and Deloitte Digital providing implementation and configuration services.
Governance changes included centralizing CPQ administration, standardizing quote approval workflows and instituting a common set of routing and BOM rules to reduce variation across entities. The implementation yielded improved quote accuracy and reduced cycle times as reported in the case study, while the conversational layer from NetSuite CPQ AI Assistant was positioned to accelerate user adoption and streamline quote creation for sales, manufacturing and finance stakeholders.

The University of Notre Dame Australia | Education | 1800 | $155M | Australia | Squiz | Squiz Matrix | Web Content Management | 2022 |
In 2022 The University of Notre Dame Australia implemented Squiz Matrix for Web Content Management. The engagement began with a three month development project and continued as a two year partnership, delivered with Deloitte Digital and design partner Humaan Design Agency, using the Squiz DXP platform and Squiz Search Funnelback as part of the solution stack.
The Squiz Matrix implementation deployed a structured design system and a set of reusable page templates and components, including five page templates, new navigation and information architecture, banner variants with video and built in search, and a library of more than 35 no code components. Default styles and image size standards were configured to create content libraries, template driven page builds, and guarded presentation rules that enforce visual consistency across the site.
Integrations and platform scope included Squiz Matrix as the CMS and Squiz Search Funnelback for site search, with the overall Squiz DXP providing delivery orchestration. The rollout produced 30 new landing pages and university wide adoption of the new navigation and templates, with the design system formally rolled out in early 2024 and used across Marketing, IT and web content teams under the governance of the Pro Vice Chancellor, IT Director and Webmaster.
Governance and workflow changes centered on a templated, no code authoring model designed for marketing users and content specialists, with developers configuring components so non technical staff can assemble responsive pages in hours instead of days. Maintenance workflows were streamlined so routine content and image updates take minutes rather than hours, enabling faster campaign page turnarounds and closer collaboration between IT and Marketing.
Explicit outcomes reported include 35 component types available up from 12 previously, universal adoption of the new components across the site, and a reported 95 percent click through rate from ads and organic search to course pages. The Vice Chancellor provided executive level recognition for the project, reflecting strong internal alignment on the new Web Content Management platform.
