Bennett Management | Retail | 500 | $60M | United States | Microsoft | Microsoft Dynamics NAV | ERP Financial | 2018 |
In 2018 Bennett Management reimplemented Microsoft Dynamics NAV as its core ERP Financial platform, engaging Innovia Consulting to lead the project. The implementation positioned Microsoft Dynamics NAV to centralize transactional accounting and financial reporting across Bennett Management's retail operations.
The Microsoft Dynamics NAV deployment concentrated on standard ERP Financial capabilities, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed asset accounting, and inventory valuation controls tailored for retail. Configuration work included chart of accounts rationalization, financial period close workflows, and inventory costing method setup to align retail inventory and financial processes with corporate reporting requirements.
Innovia Consulting provided implementation services and post go-live support, a relationship documented in a customer testimonial where Brent from Bennett Management stated he was happy with the service provided by the NAV partner. Operational ownership was placed with corporate finance and retail operations teams in the United States, supported by partner-led rollout sequencing and governance focused on standardized financial processes and handoff to internal process owners.

Busch Systems | Professional Services | 100 | $20M | Canada | Microsoft | Microsoft Dynamics NAV | ERP Financial | 2019 |
In 2019, Busch Systems reimplemented Microsoft Dynamics NAV as its ERP Financial system to move off a highly customized NAV installation and re-establish baseline functionality. The reimplementation explicitly prioritized Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2018 core capabilities to reduce customization sprawl and to align ERP behavior with standardized financial and manufacturing workflows.
The implementation focused on core financials, manufacturing operations, order fulfillment and purchasing, using Microsoft Dynamics NAV as the central application for transactional processing and inventory control. Innovia Consulting provided process development leadership for order fulfillment and purchasing, and delivered manufacturing expertise and training while Busch’s internal team executed the bulk of the project with Innovia in a supporting role.
Innovia guided selection and integration of ISV solutions, including Insight Works WMS to streamline the shipping process, and advised on additional ISV options to avoid custom code where possible. Operational coverage extended across operations, manufacturing shop floor activities, shipping and finance teams, with NAV serving as the system of record for sales, purchasing and warehouse processes.
Governance and process changes were explicit project goals, the team instituted a decision model to evaluate customization requests against process change, and emphasized knowledge transfer. Innovia Consulting delivered onsite specialists and training, and Busch adopted an internal support model for daily help requests and ongoing configuration decisions.
Today Busch Systems runs an updated Microsoft Dynamics NAV environment with up-to-date features, smoother operations and faster shipping, and the company is planning a new configurator to support customized bin products. The ERP Financial implementation positions NAV to support Busch’s manufacturing and recycling product lines, with Innovia providing ongoing advisory and implementation support.

Caplugs | Manufacturing | 1000 | $276M | United States | Microsoft | Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central | ERP Financial | 2025 |
In 2025 Caplugs implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as its cloud ERP Financial platform, migrating from an on premise Microsoft Dynamics NAV installation to centralize multi-entity financial operations. The program targeted multiple acquired legal entities across the U.S., Canada, Netherlands, Germany, and San Marino, with Microsoft as the vendor and Innovia Consulting listed as the SI VAR supporting the initiative.
The implementation emphasized core Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central configuration for financial management and inventory control, augmented by EDI and warehouse management capabilities. Caplugs assembled specialist roles including Dynamics 365 BC Developers, Dynamics 365 BC Solution Architects, Dynamics 365 BC Implementation Consultants, and EDI and WMS Consultants to cover functional design, solution architecture, development, and operational integration.
Integrations focused on cloud-based EDI and WMS workflows to support manufacturing, assembly, shipping, and storage processes across global sites, while consolidating multi-entity financial reporting within Business Central. The migration approach moved transactional and master data from Microsoft Dynamics NAV into Business Central and established a global architecture to govern entity-level postings, inventory valuations, and cross-border transactional flows.
Governance and delivery were restructured through a hybrid resourcing model that combined full-time employees, independent contractors, and specialist consultants, led by Talent as the program lead. Six hires were made to date, three full-time employees and three contractors, with a 100 percent offer acceptance rate, time to hire under three weeks for permanent roles and under one week for contractors, creating a scalable delivery model and reducing reliance on expensive consulting engagements.
Caplugs captured explicit cost differentials through the Talent staffing model, with contractors procured at $140 to $180 per hour versus $250 per hour and above through Microsoft partners. Talent now provides project leadership and a roadmap for the Dynamics 365 Business Central program across the U.S., Canada, and Europe, delivering the operational confidence and execution capability that had been missing from prior consulting engagements.
