In 2013 SWRI engaged Pinnacle to implement Deltek wInsight Analytics as part of an EVMS implementation and tool integration program that also involved Deltek Cobra and Deltek Costpoint. The engagement established an EVMS implementation roadmap and prioritized major program setup and Integrated Baseline Reviews as central deliverables.
Deltek wInsight Analytics for Project Portfolio Management was configured to deliver earned value analytics, program controls reporting, and dashboarding for program managers and controls teams. Deltek Cobra was implemented to manage earned value calculations and schedule cost integration, while Deltek Costpoint provided the financial transaction feed, together enabling cross functional earned value and cost reconciliation workflows.
The project architecture connected Deltek Cobra, Deltek wInsight Analytics, and Deltek Costpoint through integrated interfaces and data feeds to support subcontractor integration and consolidated reporting across major programs. The U.S. based implementation targeted program controls, earned value management, and reporting use cases, with Pinnacle acting as systems integrator to coordinate toolchain orchestration and data mapping for IBR readiness.
Governance workstreams produced an EVMS roadmap, standardized configuration templates for major program setup, and updated reporting workflows to support IBRs and program reviews. The initiative explicitly aimed to improve program performance visibility through centralized earned value reporting and subcontractor data integration.
