AmRest Holdings SE | Leisure and Hospitality | 21891 | $2.2B | Spain | Microsoft | Microsoft Azure Analysis Services | Analytics and BI | 2021 |
In 2021, AmRest Holdings SE implemented Microsoft Azure Analysis Services as the analytical engine for an enterprise data warehouse built on Microsoft Azure with SoftwareONE. The deployment targeted Analytics and BI use cases across AmRest's restaurant estate in Europe, aligning sales, marketing, and operations reporting on a common platform.
The implementation centralized point of sale and operational data into a single semantic model hosted in Microsoft Azure Analysis Services, and included data modeling and ETL pipelines to populate very large analytical models. Azure Analysis Services was configured to deliver high concurrency query performance, supporting sub 3 second report response times on large models and enabling consistent cross functional analysis.
Integrations explicitly consolidated POS systems and operational feeds from sites across Europe into the Azure data warehouse, providing a unified data source for sales, marketing and operations analytics. SoftwareONE acted as the system integrator and delivery partner for the build out, responsible for engineering the Azure-based data warehouse and the Analysis Services semantic layer.
Governance focused on a centralized semantic model and standardized reporting workflows to align retail operations teams, with a phased rollout across AmRest's European estate. Outcomes called out by the engagement included much faster reporting and improved decision making for retail operations through Microsoft Azure Analysis Services and the centralized enterprise data warehouse.

Cabify | Professional Services | 1000 | $516M | Spain | LumApps | LumApps Skill Intelligence | Skills Intelligence | 2022 |
In 2022, Cabify implemented LumApps Skill Intelligence as part of an employee hub initiative for HR and internal communications, aligning the deployment with the Skills Intelligence category. The implementation was delivered with partner SoftwareONE and centered on a branded employee portal called Explora to consolidate people facing services.
Explora centralized onboarding workflows, internal job postings and a Campus learning community, with explicit configuration to surface learning content and internal mobility opportunities. The implementation established a roughly 40 person contributor network to drive content creation and personalization across global teams, and contributor roles were used to scale editorial ownership and localized communications.
The deployment architecture emphasized a centralized content repository and role based contributor governance to support global access and content personalization, consistent with Skills Intelligence use cases. Cabify configured the environment to connect HR and learning workflows, using skills oriented taxonomy and discovery capabilities inferred from the Skills Intelligence application to align employee development and internal mobility.
Operational scope focused on HR and internal communications across Cabify’s global teams, with SoftwareONE managing implementation delivery and rollout coordination. The program embedded LumApps Skill Intelligence into Cabify’s learning and internal communications operations, and the contributor network was explicitly created to boost collaboration and content personalization across the organization.

Carlsberg Group | Consumer Packaged Goods | 36056 | $14.2B | Denmark | Flexera | Flexera One ITAM | Hardware Asset Management (HAM),Software Asset Management (SAM),IT Asset Management (ITAM),SaaS Spend Management | 2022 |
In 2022, Carlsberg Group deployed Flexera One ITAM to address pervasive visibility gaps across its global IT estate. Flexera One ITAM, covering Hardware Asset Management (HAM),Software Asset Management (SAM),IT Asset Management (ITAM),SaaS Spend Management, was provisioned as a fully Flexera-hosted ITAM solution to centralize inventory, entitlement and contract data.
Carlsberg moved from a hybrid model of on premises inventory and Snow's SAP solution to the Flexera One ITAM platform, targeting blind spots that previously left Eastern Europe and Asia without coverage. The implementation imported the brewer's main publishers' contracts and licenses into a single system of record and established integration with ServiceNow to streamline request handling and ticket driven workflows across IT operations and procurement.
Functional capabilities implemented included centralized hardware and software inventory reconciliation, entitlement normalization and license management, procurement data ingestion and SAP license oversight. Configuration efforts focused on consolidating contract and license metadata into a unified repository, enabling standardized license checks, software approvals and audit preparation workflows that were previously manual.
SoftwareONE was engaged as the managed service provider to operate the hosted Flexera One ITAM environment, which provided a governance layer for ongoing system operation and vendor driven updates. Operational scope covered the entire global IT environment, and the program consolidated multiple local contracts into a single global contract structure while reducing external support footprint from six regional resources to two global resources responsible for operations.
The rollout yielded explicit operational outcomes reported by Carlsberg, including over $400,000 in first year savings across maintenance, running costs, support fees and license costs, faster customer request processing, and reduced audit exposure through contract consolidation. Following the ITAM deployment, Carlsberg expanded its use of Flexera One into Cloud Cost Optimization to extend unified visibility from on premises inventory to SaaS and public cloud spend.
