Brambles | Distribution | 13000 | $6.5B | Australia | Oracle | Oracle Hyperion | EPM | 2011 |
In 2011, Brambles implemented Oracle Hyperion to centralize group consolidation and reporting across its global operating companies. The initiative targeted the EPM category and was driven by Group Finance and IT to ensure a single source of truth for consolidation, intercompany eliminations, and direct ledger loading.
Brambles implemented Oracle Hyperion Financial Management, leveraging HFM functionality to deliver a group consolidation system with custom rules, process control, and multiple currency support. The implementation included a redesigned chart of accounts to exploit HFM custom dimensions, and the solution supported actuals, budgets, and forecasts restated at multiple rates across the profit and loss and balance sheet.
Integrations were a central element of the architecture, with Taysols enabling direct loading from 70 ledgers around the world into the consolidation environment using FDM for data sourcing and validation. Reporting and analysis were provisioned through Hyperion SmartView for Excel and Hyperion Financial Reports online, providing consistent report views for Group Finance and operating companies.
Governance and rollout were organized by a steering committee comprising Taysols, Group Finance and IT, and the Taysols lead consultant worked closely with group finance to map requirements to HFM capabilities. Brambles staff were involved at every stage so that by go live internal teams could support the system, and the project delivered within a 10 month timeline.
The deployment delivered explicit benefits stated by the client, including a new chart of accounts to leverage HFM dimensionality, improved business insight and decision support, consistent simultaneous report views for users, and improved data quality through validation checks and direct ledger sourcing. Brambles also gained a deeper understanding of their ledgers and the consolidation process, while a single view of intercompany eliminations was made accessible to operating companies.

EBOS Group | Retail | 5000 | $7.5B | Australia | Oracle | Oracle Hyperion | EPM | 2015 |
In 2015, EBOS Group deployed Oracle Hyperion to centralize group consolidation and meet expanding multi-entity reporting requirements. The project used Oracle Hyperion within the EPM category, leveraging Hyperion Financial Management and Financial Data Management Enterprise Edition to provide a multidimensional consolidation and data integration foundation.
Taysols worked with EBOS to develop a new group chart of accounts designed to exploit the multidimensionality of Hyperion Financial Management, enabling a line of business view across all group entities. The initial HFM build included structures to support multiple currencies and multiple exchange rate representations, and was extended to deliver fully derived cash flows for statutory and management reporting, plus budget and forecast preparation and representation at alternative FX rates.
Financial Data Management Enterprise Edition was implemented to provide rigorous, managed mappings from source ledgers to the group chart of accounts, establishing an integration layer for data collection, loading and reconciliation. Operational coverage focused on finance and consolidation teams across each operating company, with representatives trained to actively participate in loading historical data, reconciling balances and feeding back into iterative configuration work.
Governance and rollout emphasized hands-on training and change management, with Taysols providing implementation services, risk mitigation and process guidance during the rollout. The engagement explicitly cited improved change management and confidence in achieving the desired consolidation outcomes as direct benefits of the implementation.

Endo Pharmaceuticals | Life Sciences | 3116 | $2.0B | United States | OneStream Software LLC | OneStream XF | EPM | 2019 |
In 2019, Endo Pharmaceuticals implemented OneStream XF as its EPM solution from OneStream Software LLC, engaging Taysols as the implementation partner. The program targeted financial consolidation, reporting, annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting, delivered as a OneStream XF Cloud deployment and rolled out in a single big bang to more than 100 users across headquarters and three remote locations in the United States, Canada and Ireland. Endo moved to a unified architecture to address a fragmented environment that included SAP ERP, JD Edwards ERP, Oracle Hyperion Financial Management and three instances of Hyperion Planning, plus Host Analytics for planning.
OneStream XF was configured to provide financial consolidation, statutory and management reporting, and integrated planning and forecasting capabilities. The implementation emphasized a single model for actuals and forecasts to eliminate mismatched charts of accounts and reconciliation friction, and included drill-through and transactional drillback capability to source data. The OneStream XF Cloud solution was selected for its reduced IT support footprint and to centralize reporting and planning workflows.
Data integration was implemented by loading transactional data from SAP ERP and JD Edwards ERP into an SAP HANA data warehouse, then integrating that HANA layer into OneStream XF for consolidation and reporting. Users can drill from OneStream summary figures directly to transaction detail in the SAP HANA warehouse, enabling reconciliations that trace to source records. Operational coverage included finance, consolidation and FP&A teams across Endo’s HQ and remote sites, aligning reporting and forecasting processes across subsidiaries.
Governance and process changes focused on standardizing chart of accounts usage for actuals and forecasts, reducing reconciliation touch points and streamlining period close and reporting cycles. The deployment replaced multiple Hyperion products and Host Analytics with one unified EPM platform, simplifying maintenance and user training under cloud operations. Endo reported that reporting and planning processes take less time and generate less stress, and as Financial Systems Manager Nicole Bruno stated, "OneStream has saved us a lot of time in reconciling data between systems. Pulling reports is so much easier to compare actuals vs. budgets or forecasts. The close process is more efficient, and we’re spending less time manipulating data and more time on analysis of the business."
