Bosch Rexroth | Manufacturing | 33000 | $8.1B | Germany | SAP | SAP HCM Payroll | Payroll | 2009 | In 2009 Bosch Rexroth went live with SAP HCM Payroll for personnel administration and payroll processing in its Netherlands organization. Transcriptum served as the system integrator for data migration, and the final data migration window ran from December 29 until January 2 after a preparation phase from October through December 2008. The deployment covered SAP HR modules for personnel administration PA and payroll PY, with organizational management integration maintained via InfoType 0001. Organizational data workstreams for Departments, Cost Centers and Positions were restructured, a new Bosch Rexroth Organizational Model called BROM was created in MS Access, and WOM was used as the authoritative worldwide master for Departments, Positions and Cost Centers. Data migration was executed using the DataTranscript method and tooling, implemented as iterative cycles of analysis, data mapping, conversion script development, quality control and test migrations prior to the final migration. Source data included PView, Raet and multiple departmental Excel sheets, DataTranscript applied quality definitions that blocked incorrect records, and LSMW was used to import converted data into SAP. Governance combined technical tooling with business-led data remediation, with user departments correcting blocked records in their source systems before final load and position numbers assigned in WOM being entered into BROM and then migrated into SAP OM. The combined use of DataTranscript, BROM, WOM and LSMW established a repeatable migration process and was designed to minimize the risk of loading incorrect data into SAP HCM Payroll. |
