In 2023 Highlands Coffee deployed ByteTech PangoCDP to run the Chill hè Maldives Zalo Mini App voucher campaign in Vietnam, using the application as a Customer Data Platform to support marketing, CRM and loyalty objectives. The campaign launched in July 2023 and targeted voucher-driven engagement and identifiable customer capture through Zalo channels, aligning Highlands Coffee, ByteTech PangoCDP and local execution by VietGuys for messaging delivery.
ByteTech PangoCDP was configured to centralize customer interaction data and orchestrate voucher distribution using the Master Channel concept, applying standard Customer Data Platform capabilities such as identity consolidation, segmentation and real-time campaign orchestration to voucher lifecycle management. The implementation emphasized automation of voucher issuance and redemption orchestration across digital touchpoints, enabling marketing teams to control campaign rules and eligibility logic from the CDP.
Integrations included a direct operational partnership with VietGuys for Zalo messaging and Zalo Mini App delivery, with the CDP feeding the messaging channel and capturing response events back into the customer graph. Operational scope was focused on Highlands Coffee marketing, CRM and loyalty functions across Vietnam, with the Zalo Official Account channel instrumented as a primary acquisition and engagement surface.
Outcomes reported from the initiative included over 2 million interactions, a 56.9% conversion rate to identifiable customer data and approximately 347,000 new Zalo OA followers, results that were captured and persisted in ByteTech PangoCDP for ongoing marketing segmentation and loyalty orchestration. Governance centered on a marketing-led rollout with VietGuys handling messaging execution, and process changes concentrated on centralizing customer identity and voucher orchestration within the Customer Data Platform.
