Procurement and governance followed a formal call for tender process, technical evaluation, and financial and contractual negotiations, with the IT purchasing team implementing a standard intellectual services contract and centralized license audits and renegotiations across the estate. The SAP BusinessObjects Financial Consolidation purchase was part of a broader procurement program that included multiple software acquisitions and license optimizations, with the overall IT purchasing effort delivering documented savings of €3.5 million for the period.
