In 2021, STOBAG implemented SAP C/4 HANA as its company-wide CRM platform. The SAP C/4 HANA CRM deployment centralized customer and partner records across marketing, sales and service to support a customer-centric strategy for the Swiss manufacturer of sun and weather protection solutions.
Vision11 acted as the SAP Gold Partner and implementation consultant, delivering a standards-oriented template with construction industry and indirect sales best practice processes. A functional, individualized SAP C/4 HANA prototype was available from the first requirements workshop, over 60 percent of requirements were covered in the first 15 percent of project time, and all requirements were captured and prioritized in a four-day fit gap analysis.
The implementation included configuration of an extended product hierarchy inside SAP C/4 HANA to expose complex product configurations and parts lists to opportunities and quotes, and territory management features were restructured to reduce complexity in data analysis and visualization. Dashboards and reports were implemented directly on the SAP C/4 HANA platform to provide real-time analysis of sales, marketing and service KPIs, and indirect product sales processes were modeled to support handover to specialist partners at key purchase moments.
Integrations were delivered between SAP C/4 HANA and the existing SAP ERP environment, with SAP Cloud Platform used to map and orchestrate indirect sales processes into STOBAGs hybrid IT landscape and to implement end-to-end integration scenarios. Vision11 implemented over 20 data quality check reports and defined quality gates so data exchanged from connected systems including SAP ERP could be validated in SAP C/4 HANA, which in turn improved data quality in the source systems.
Governance and rollout combined short iterative workshops, targeted key user enablement and multilingual training videos for every CRM use case to accelerate adoption across departments. The GoLive was moved forward by three weeks due to strong project momentum, and operational outcomes explicitly reported include the removal of data silos, higher data quality, improved cross functional collaboration and a consolidated 360 degree customer view that exposed new partner relationships and sales opportunities.
