| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle e-Business Suite Accounts Payable | AP Automation | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2018 | 2018 |
In 2018, RHB Bank implemented Oracle e-Business Suite Accounts Payable as its AP Automation solution. The Oracle e-Business Suite Accounts Payable deployment centralized invoice processing and payment orchestration within the bank’s enterprise financial systems, and was operated alongside the Fixed Assets module to align AP and FA period controls.
The implementation focused on core AP Automation capabilities including daily invoice validation workflows, vendor master maintenance, AP setup configuration to support payment runs, and the management of AP concurrent programs to ensure batch jobs completed successfully. Configuration work addressed invoice validation exceptions such as never validated invoices and non-generated purchase order invoices, while emergency vendor setup and concurrent program execution were established to meet payment deadlines.
Operational coverage spanned finance and IT collaboration for testing, user acceptance testing, and post implementation review, with Finance System Specialists executing monthly opening and closing periods for AP and FA modules. The program integrated procedural governance with Robotic Process Automation planning for repetitive manual tasks, and system support processes for user-reported issues within the Group Financial Information System environment.
Governance and process controls included project tracking with project plans, risk and issue logs, reporting and governance routines, and maintenance of IT ADMs for change requests and circulars that affect financial systems. The EBS AP implementation was also included in the bank’s comprehensive annual disaster recovery plan assessment and bi-annual business continuity planning exercises, and it was subject to internal and external audit scrutiny.

| Workday | Legacy | Workday Absence Management | Absence and Leave Management | HCM | n/a | 2024 | 2026 |
In 2024 RHB Bank deployed Workday Absence Management within its HR System Management function to strengthen Absence and Leave Management across the Kuala Lumpur HR operations team. The implementation was centered in the bank's HR System Management team and targeted core absence workflows to support team member leave administration, eligibility rules, and absence reporting.
Workday Absence Management was configured using Workday business process framework constructs, calculated fields, and Report Writer to standardize absence plans, time off calendars, approvals, and notification flows. Tenant configuration and testing were managed through formal change requests and release activities, with the team driving automation of routine approvals and maintaining security policies and role-based access controls for absence data.
Integrations were executed to ensure seamless connectivity between Absence and Leave Management and adjacent HR modules, leveraging Workday integration technologies such as Core Connectors, EIBs, Workday Studio, and REST SOAP APIs. The scope included operational linkages to Time Tracking, Benefits, Compensation related workflows, and non-HR systems where required, and the implementation included SSO and MFA authentication policy alignment as part of identity governance.
Operational governance emphasized day-to-day technical administration, incident resolution, and ongoing tenant maintenance, with teams responsible for testing upgrades, patches, and new functionality prior to deployment. Change control, problem log management, and collaboration between HR operations and technical administrators were established to sustain the Absence and Leave Management configuration and support continuous improvement.

| IDEMIA | Legacy | IDEMIA MOTION CODE | Card Personalization | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2020 | 2020 |
In 2020, RHB Bank deployed IDEMIA MOTION CODE as part of a Card Personalization program that accompanied the bank’s launch of an eco-friendly recycled PVC payment card in Asia Pacific. The initiative was announced jointly with IDEMIA, WWF-Malaysia, and Visa, and the recycled RHB Visa WWF Debit Card-i was made available to existing and new RHB customers in Malaysia in July 2020.
The implementation centered on card personalization workflows driven by IDEMIA MOTION CODE technology, combining dynamic CVV2 capability with physical personalization on recycled PVC stock. The project specification emphasized EMV compliance and ISO certification, with cards passing durability testing, and the personalization process included material substitution to recycled PVC to meet the program’s sustainability requirements.
Operational coverage focused on card issuance and payment product management within RHB’s retail channels in Malaysia, affecting issuing operations, fraud control processes, and customer onboarding for debit card products. The program explicitly reported environmental impact details, including an estimated 3.18 grams of industrial waste avoided per finished card and broader CO2 emission reduction benefits cited by partners, while the partnership model with IDEMIA, WWF-Malaysia, and Visa governed product messaging, certification compliance, and public sustainability commitments.
