Serrala FinanceSuite managed payment data and document flows while providing secure end-to-end payment processing aligned with Serrala's intelligent automation portfolio.
The implementation integrated with ABN AMRO's ERP landscape, including SAP-embedded deployments and cloud ERP instances, and connected AP processes to banking connectivity for payment execution and settlement. Operational coverage centered on finance, accounts payable, and treasury functions, standardizing approvals, payment file generation, and audit trails across those teams.
Governance was configured through centralized workflow orchestration, role based access controls, and audit logging to support compliance and operational controls. The rollout emphasized automated exception workflows and reconciliation processes to reduce manual handoffs while maintaining bank grade security and end-to-end payment orchestration.

In 2020, ABN AMRO implemented Benify Benefits as part of a Benefits Administration program to establish a new Core HR, Payroll and Benefits setup in the Netherlands. Benify Benefits was positioned to support Benefits Administration and to integrate with the broader HR and payroll modernization initiative within ABN AMRO's HR function.
The implementation encompassed Benefit Management, Expense Management, Document Management and Service Enablement capabilities, with Benify Benefits configured to manage enrollment workflows, benefit catalogs, employee self service touchpoints and document lifecycle. Operational support was defined across 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support, and the program included application managed services and business process redesign to align benefit administration with payroll and HR processes.
Integrations were implemented to synchronize employee and payroll related data between Benify Benefits and SAP SuccessFactors EC and ECP, SAP Concur for expenses, PeopleDoc for document management and Docusign for signature workflows, including integration into S4 Hana for financial and payroll reconciliation. The architecture emphasized data flows between Benify Benefits and core HR, payroll and expense systems to ensure consistent master data and transaction handoffs across platforms.
Program governance was led by a Senior Program Manager in a contracting capacity from September 2020, overseeing (re)outsourcing of services, processes and technology in the Netherlands, plus ticketing, chatbot and livechat service enablement. Rollout planning and operational ownership focused on Netherlands HR and payroll operations, with governance covering service levels, support tiers and process ownership for benefits, expense and document management.
