The SAP ERP ECC 6.0 deployment included a 16 terabyte ECC instance alongside an 18 terabyte BW system, SAP APO, two SAP CRM platforms and SAP Process Orchestration, representing a unified ERP Financial and logistics stack. Configuration work focused on core financial modules, order to cash workflows, procurement and inventory management, and planning capabilities consistent with analytics delivered through SAP BW.
Technically the program integrated the ECC landscape with more than 200 downstream applications and incorporated the divestment of critical systems from Lion Dairy and Drinks, including the onboarding of 31 additional manufacturing sites. The implementation used an AWS-hosted architecture for production workloads and retained always on availability to support continuous order processing, manufacturing scheduling and cold chain logistics across Australia and more than 50 export markets.
Governance was executed as a nine month program delivered on time and on budget with Capgemini working alongside AWS and SAP, emphasizing phased cutovers and operational validation to avoid supply chain disruption. Post integration Bega reported increased stability across the environment and a system performance improvement of upwards of 30 percent.
