UKG Legacy UKG Workforce Central (ex Kronos Workforce Central) Workforce Management HCM n/a 2007 2007
In 2007 Bi-State Development implemented UKG Workforce Central (ex Kronos Workforce Central) for Workforce Management. The deployment anchored time and attendance and absence administration while operating alongside an internal applications team responsible for enterprise HR systems support. Operational modules included Kronos Workforce Manager, leave management for LOA and FMLA, and accrual modules within UKG Workforce Central, while Oracle HCMS was supported and enhanced for Payroll, HR, OAB, ESS and MSS. UKG Workforce Central served time capture, schedule enforcement, leave tracking and accrual processing functions, and Oracle HCMS maintained payroll calculation and core HR recordkeeping. Integrations were operationally aligned, with UKG Workforce Central exchanging workforce and time data with Oracle HCMS for payroll and HR reconciliation, and with BMC Footprints used for helpdesk ticketing and change management workflows. The environment was governed by an internal programming team that supported and enhanced Oracle HCMS, maintained Kronos configuration, and coordinated change control through BMC Footprints. The implementation scope covered enterprise payroll, HR, time and attendance, absence management and IT service management processes, with governance routed through the internal applications team and BMC Footprints workflows to control changes. Employee self-service and manager self-service workflows were enforced via ESS and MSS, and operational responsibility remained with the in-house programmers and support organization.
