IFS Legacy IFS HCM Core HR HCM n/a 2011 2011 In 2011, Bolix implemented IFS HCM as part of a broader upgrade to its existing IFS suite, deploying IFS HCM in a Core HR context to align workforce management with remodeled operational workflows. The upgrade retained the original system functionality while remodeling business workflows to improve warehouse management and shop floor communications, which set the implementation scope for IFS HCM to support operational HR processes tied to production and logistics. The IFS HCM deployment emphasized Core HR capabilities such as time and attendance capture, role based task assignments, employee task logging, and workforce accountability workflows. Actual task completion times recorded on warehouse terminals were brought into the HR workflow for comparison against standards, enabling workforce activity records and operator request handling to be configured inside IFS HCM alongside operational task management. IFS HCM was implemented within the existing IFS application landscape and aligned with operational components introduced in the upgrade, including the IFS pallet handling logic, wireless QR code reader terminals for online reporting of warehousing tasks, shipment planning and scheduling processes, and the paperless sales approval flows that supported on the fly valuation and a new B2B customer portal. This placement ensured HR data and operational task records were synchronized with manufacturing reporting and logistics scheduling without introducing external vendor integrations. Governance changes accompanied the rollout, with new warehouse operation rules, task oriented workflow management, and terminal operator request processes formalized in system configuration and procedure documentation. The combined program eliminated paper based documentation in sales approvals, improved shipment accuracy through FEFO controlled picking and pallet verification, and made worker responsibilities and efficiency analysis visible through the IFS HCM enabled activity and time records. The broader IFS footprint from this project was also extended to Bolix’s Ukrainian subsidiary for financials and distribution, providing cross site transparency under the same vendor suite.
