SAP Legacy SAP S/4 HANA ERP Financial ERP Financial Management n/a 2025 2025
In 2025, the Federal Employment Agency implemented SAP S/4 HANA using RISE with SAP to consolidate its core finance environment. The deployment targets the ERP Financial domain, with SAP S/4 HANA serving as the central application for enterprise accounting and fiscal control. The SAP S/4 HANA implementation focuses on ERP Financial functional modules including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting, treasury and financial close, and embedded reporting for statutory and management needs. Configuration work centers on standardized ledgers, chart of accounts harmonization, period-end close automation, tax and compliance configuration, and workflow-driven invoice to pay and order to cash process controls. Architecturally the program leverages the RISE with SAP cloud subscription model, centralizing SAP S/4 HANA as the core ERP instance and adopting SAPs managed cloud operational model to enable continuous delivery. Technical design addresses enterprise-grade connectivity and interface patterns customary for ERP Financial deployments while preserving the ability to sequence integrations during later technical phases. Governance and rollout planning emphasize centralized finance process governance, role-based access control, data ownership, and phased adoption across the Agencys finance and procurement organizations. Change management activities include standardized process documentation, targeted training for accounting teams, and cutover sequencing aligned to fiscal close cycles to stabilize operations on SAP S/4 HANA.

tts Legacy tt Knowledge Force Digital Adoption HCM n/a 2010 2010
In 2010 the Federal Employment Agency awarded Heidelberg-based tts GmbH a large contract to produce tt Knowledge Force web based trainings under the Digital Adoption category, covering up to 150 learning hours to be delivered to employees and customers of the BA by March 2012. The procurement emphasized tts GmbH experience in planning, development, production, introduction, provision and evaluation of multimedia e learning products and required adherence to the BA corporate design for all learning units. The engagement focused on production of software simulations and web based trainings as core functional modules, with 120 learning hours including audio narration and 30 hours delivered without audio. Audio-enabled WBTs include a learner control to switch sound on or off, and when sound is turned off the narration is rendered as text in a separate window. All WBT content was required to be visible without scrolling and adapted to employee screen resolutions to maintain consistent presentation and usability. Deployments were integrated with the BA learning platform ILIAS, the WBTs being uploaded and launched by users from that LMS. The deliverables were explicitly SCORM compatible so that learning progress, learning status and learning duration could be transferred to ILIAS, SCORM standing for Sharable Content Object Reference Model and defining reusable learning module behavior within an LMS. The specification also required SCORM data transmission to enable certificate generation after users completed at least 80 percent of a WBT. The contract included specific accessibility and governance requirements, notably preparing content to be meaningfully usable by the severely visually impaired and the blind and meeting the BA timetable for completion by March 2012. All WBTs had to conform to BA corporate design standards and provide the tracking fields necessary for ILIAS driven certification and reporting, establishing a production, upload and LMS integration workflow aligned to those requirements.

Esri Legacy Esri Arcgis Geographic Information System PLM and Engineering n/a 2010 2010
In 2010 the Federal Employment Agency implemented Esri Arcgis as a Geographic Information System to support spatial analysis and data visualization requirements within its Düsseldorf teams focused on SGB II statistics. The implementation of Esri Arcgis was positioned to provide mapping, geodatabase management, geocoding, thematic mapping and spatial query capabilities to augment statistical workflows for employment services and case management reporting. Configuration emphasized server and desktop mapping workflows, cartographic product generation, and automated data processing where VBA scripting was used to standardize repeatable tasks, reflecting the presence of certified Office, VBA and ArcGIS training resources on staff. Esri Arcgis was used to produce visualizations and spatial extracts that informed SGB II statistics workstreams and operational reporting in support of employment interviews and case tracking. Operational governance and rollout centered on a Düsseldorf-based team structure, where a team leader managed 15 to 18 staff members and provided long term oversight of an additional team, delivering internal training, personnel development, appraisals and certification activities. The deployment linked application-level configuration, training programs and team management to embed Geographic Information System capabilities into statistical reporting and workforce planning functions within the Federal Employment Agency.
