| Riqra | Legacy | Riqra E-Commerce Platform | eCommerce | eCommerce | n/a | 2023 | 2023 | In 2023, Cementos Pacasmayo implemented the Riqra E-Commerce Platform to provision a multi vendor B2B portal for its distribution network. The deployment targeted hardware stores and franchisees across Peru and centralized sales and distribution processes within the commercial organization, using the Riqra E-Commerce Platform to enable web based order capture and catalog driven commerce for business customers. The project is categorized under eCommerce and focuses on streamlining B2B ordering and catalog management workflows. The implementation emphasized B2B customer portal capabilities and multi distributor features, with configuration work concentrated on catalog management, tiered pricing and price list management, account based ordering, and order management workflows. The solution was configured to allow franchise and reseller accounts to manage catalogs and pricing, place and track orders, and handle routine reorders through self service interfaces. These modules reflect standard eCommerce functional terminology aligned with supplier and distributor orchestration. Operational scope covered commercial sales teams, distribution operations, and the network of hardware stores and franchise partners across the Peru region, centralizing order capture and distributor coordination under the new portal. Rollout patterns focused on onboarding channel partners to the portal and consolidating sales and distribution procedures into a single commerce entry point, with governance shifts toward centralized catalog and pricing control. Governance changes included revised commercial workflows to route orders through the portal and centralized stewardship of catalog and pricing updates, reducing manual order taking and distributed pricing authorizations. The implementation was explicitly positioned to improve sales and distribution efficiency in Peru while enabling franchisees and resellers to self manage ordering and catalog interactions through the Riqra E-Commerce Platform. |
