Infor Legacy Infor Lawson ERP Financial ERP Financial Management n/a 2016 2016
In 2016, Children's Health implemented Infor Lawson as its ERP Financial system. The initiative upgraded Lawson to version 10 and moved the finance platform to a cloud hosted architecture, positioning Infor Lawson as the central ledger and control plane for accounting, treasury and insurance finance operations. The Infor Lawson implementation covered core financial modules consistent with ERP Financial deployments, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and treasury and regulatory reporting configuration. The program also incorporated a payroll payment card solution to eliminate paper checks and an electronic workflow for submission, approval and payment of expense reports, both integrated into the Infor Lawson transaction and posting flows. Operational integration focused on connecting payroll payment processing and expense approval flows with financial posting and cash management in Infor Lawson. The deployment supported accounting, treasury and insurance functions across Childrens Health and was aligned with the responsibilities of a 52 person accounting and treasury organization led by the Vice President of Accounting, Treasury and Insurance Services. Governance activities included vendor selection, solution development and phased implementation oversight to align regulatory reporting, cash management and insurance finance processes to the new ERP Financial platform. Separately in 2017 the organization coordinated issuance of 331M in non taxable bonds and 25M in taxable bonds and established a captive insurance company, outcomes that operated in parallel with the finance systems program.

Epic Systems Legacy Epic ASAP Clinical Trial Management ERP Services and Operations n/a 2021 2022
Children's Health implemented Epic ASAP in 2021 as part of its Clinical Trial Management toolset, embedding Epic ASAP within the institution's broader Epic application portfolio. Governance for the Epic applications has been led by the Director Clinical Applications since September 2021, reflecting an enterprise level configuration and operational ownership model across clinical research and care teams. The Epic ASAP implementation emphasizes Clinical Trial Management workflows, including protocol-driven scheduling, encounter capture, research documentation, and subject tracking that align with standard clinical research operations. Epic ASAP is configured alongside other Epic modules to support study workflows, leveraging appointment orchestration, orders integration, and clinical documentation to manage trial visit itineraries and data capture. Named integrations reflect direct operational ties to multiple Epic modules and external lab systems, specifically Anesthesia, Beacon, Beaker AP and CP, Clinical Documentation, Optime, Orders, Perfusion, Radiology, Pharmacy, Wellsky HCLL, and third party laboratories. These integrations indicate cross-system transaction flows for orders, results, medication administration records, and peri-procedural coordination, with Epic ASAP acting as the coordinating research visit and scheduling layer for clinical teams. Operational coverage centers on clinical departments and research administration across the Dallas Fort Worth area and remote user support, with configuration and access managed by the clinical applications group. Governance practices instituted since 2021 include role-based access for research coordinators and clinicians, protocol-aligned configuration of visit types and order sets, and centralized application stewardship under the Director Clinical Applications to maintain consistent trial workflows and system configuration.
