| Coupa Software | Legacy | Coupa Invoice | AP Automation | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2019 | 2019 |
In 2019, DBS Bank deployed Coupa Invoice as part of its AP Automation program. Coupa Invoice was introduced to manage invoice and expense claim processing within DBS's global eProcurement footprint, and the implementation was scoped across six locations, Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Indonesia and India.
The implementation focused on invoice file transmission and expense claim handling, with Coupa Invoice producing structured invoice files for downstream posting. Standard AP Automation workflows were configured, including automated file extraction, validation and routing, with orchestration to ensure daily delivery of transactional files.
Coupa Invoice was integrated with DBS's existing ERP landscape through an ETL middleware layer, the ETL middleware receiving invoice files from Coupa and forwarding processed files to PSAP, PSAM and the IDEAL payment system. Files are transmitted on a daily cadence irrespective of weekends and holidays, processed through ETL and posted to different downstream systems to complete the accounts payable flow.
Operational governance centered on ETL orchestration and scheduled posting, with workflow controls to route invoice and expense claim data into the bank's payment and accounting endpoints. The architecture emphasizes a clear separation between the Coupa Invoice application, ETL middleware processing, and downstream payment posting systems to support regional operational consistency across the six sites.

| Workday | Oracle PeopleSoft HCM | Workday HCM | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2018 | 2019 |
In 2018, DBS Bank implemented Workday HCM as its Core HR system, replacing Oracle PeopleSoft HCM across the DBS Group. The program was owned by Group Human Resources Singapore and positioned Workday HCM as the central system of record for employee data and HR business processes across the bank.
The implementation incorporated Core HR configuration, configurable business processes, and emerging HR capabilities such as Talent Marketplace, thin layered HR solutions, and automation using IPA and RPA patterns. Workday HCM was configured to deliver a consistent, user friendly employee experience and to support subject matter expertise needs for business processes and API driven integrations.
Architecturally the deployment used cloud delivered Workday HCM and emphasized API first integrations, connecting Workday to over 60 other systems via a thin integration layer. The integration approach and thin layered HR architecture enabled scalable interfacing with payroll adjacent systems, talent and workforce planning tools, and bespoke internal applications while preserving a central Core HR data model.
Governance and operationalization were formalized through an HRIS function responsible for consulting with HR stakeholders, managing changes, conducting regression testing, and documenting standard operating procedures. Role provisioning and HR security were explicitly managed by the HR Security team, with change control, risk management during testing, and SLA based incident resolution baked into the rollout and ongoing support model.

In 2018, DBS Bank launched the EMOC Core Banking program and implemented Infosys Finacle to support expansion across its overseas Asian markets. The deployment was part of a targeted initiative to consolidate numerous different systems running in the bank's Emerging Markets and Overseas Countries units and to provide a common Core Banking platform for regional operations.
The implementation was executed as a regional, phased rollout of the Infosys Finacle platform to 13 locations over 20 months. Deployment speed was a notable characteristic, with go-lives occurring at a rate that reached almost one branch per month at peak, reflecting a streamlined program cadence and coordinated cutover approach.
Functional scope emphasized core processing capabilities consistent with the Core Banking category, with the Infosys Finacle implementation covering deposit account management, payments and clearing, loan servicing, customer account management and transaction processing automation. Configuration and module alignment focused on standardizing core workflows across EMOC to reduce operational fragmentation and enable consistent account and transaction handling.
Program governance was organized around the EMOC Core Banking program, using phased regional rollouts to manage risk and operational continuity across branches and markets. The Infosys Finacle deployment supported DBS Bank's stated objective of expanding its presence in the Asian region and demonstrably delivered an efficient rollout model across the bank's overseas operations.
