The operational scope covers operating and maintenance departments, warehouse and materials management, procurement and project management activities at the Vung Tau site, with a stated plan to grow Maximo for additional plants in the future. Governance and process changes accompanied the rollout, including implementation of workflows to centralize procurement and to schedule daily work for the operations and maintenance organization, and a structured training program comprising project team training, IT and administration training, user community training and customized sessions. Reported benefits include a central system for asset management, optimized maintenance processes, improved supply chain management and management reports to support continuous improvement, with Maximo used across asset tracking, work management, inventory and purchasing. |
