SAP Legacy SAP ERP ECC 6.0 ERP Financial ERP n/a 2009 2009
In 2009, Gucci US implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0. SAP ERP ECC 6.0 served as the core ERP Financial system, centralizing transactional finance processes and providing a single record for inventory valuation and accounting. The implementation emphasized finance and inventory transactional controls, including financial accounting and ledger consolidation, accounts payable and receivable interfaces, and inventory accounting workflows consistent with an ERP Financial deployment. Configuration work focused on master data stabilization and transaction posting rules to support downstream supply chain and warehouse processes. Integrations and operational monitoring were explicitly extended later through tooling that linked SAP ERP ECC 6.0 with JDA and the company WMS, these monitoring tools were used to identify systematic defects and resolve a reported 12 million dollar product backlog. The monitoring capability combined transactional feeds from SAP ERP ECC 6.0 with demand planning and warehouse execution signals to provide near real time visibility into inbound putaway and outbound fulfillment. Operational scope of the SAP ERP ECC 6.0 environment supported supply chain planning and analytics activities for North and Latin America, aligned with a New York based planning organization. During 2022 to 2023 supply chain work, monitoring and analytics leveraging SAP ERP ECC 6.0, JDA, and WMS drove improvements including weekly forecast accuracy at 98.8% and daily forecast accuracy at 96%, outbound fulfillment SLA improvement from 87.7% to 99.8% and inbound putaway SLA improvement from 91% to 97.2%, alongside identification of 27 million dollars in slow moving inventory and execution of liquidation actions that moved over 300 million dollars in product value. Governance evolved to include centralized monitoring dashboards and a cross functional inventory governance process that fed insights to senior leadership, enabling a liquidation strategy and DC to back of house inventory reallocations that reduced excess allocation to NORAM direct stores by 12% and produced recurring month to month cost savings reported at 21%.
