| Microsoft | Legacy | Microsoft Dynamics NAV | ERP Financial | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2010 | 2010 |
In 2010 Inchcape implemented Microsoft Dynamics NAV as its ERP Financial platform for Inchcape Automotive following the Eurofleet acquisition and rebrand. The deployment formed part of a wide reaching IT systems overhaul intended to prepare the business for the next phase of development, targeting finance, asset control and operational information across Inchcape Automotive in the UK and supporting group operations in Europe and Asia.
The Microsoft Dynamics NAV implementation concentrated on core financial management capabilities consistent with an ERP Financial deployment, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed asset management and financial reporting. Configuration work included harmonizing the chart of accounts, automating transaction workflows and centralizing fiscal controls to improve consistency of financial processes across retail, fleet and automotive service lines.
The technical architecture combined Microsoft Dynamics NAV with Microsoft .NET components, leveraging Microsoft Business Solutions-Navision as the transactional ERP backbone and .NET as the application and integration layer. This integrated Microsoft stack was used to consolidate transactional data, surface operational information for reporting and enable interoperability with dealer and fleet operational systems within the Inchcape Automotive estate.
Governance was executed as part of the corporate IT overhaul, standardizing finance and asset management processes and introducing centralized controls and reporting. According to the source, the Microsoft Dynamics NAV deployment gave Inchcape Automotive greater control of its systems, information and assets, and enabled operational and financial efficiencies while enhancing service to its customers.

| SAP | Legacy | SAP SuccessFactors Compensation | Compensation Management | HCM | n/a | 2021 | 2022 |
In 2021, Inchcape implemented SAP SuccessFactors Compensation as part of a broader SAP SuccessFactors program. SAP SuccessFactors Compensation was introduced as the Compensation Management component alongside Employee Central, Recruiting, Onboarding, and Talent modules to centralize pay planning within the HRIS estate.
The implementation focused on configuration and administration of the SAP SuccessFactors Compensation application, including workflow design, business rule creation, and bulk data imports and exports to support merit, bonus, and variable pay processes. Systems administration responsibilities established in the program included ongoing maintenance, ticket management for HRIS, and hands on configuration based on solution design documentation.
Operational coverage extended across global HR teams and regional centers through coordinated activity with GPO centres of excellence, with the role in London providing day to day business support for Recruitment and Onboarding 2.0 and Employee Central workstream activities. The deployment model emphasized collaboration with IT teams, cross departmental stakeholders, and third party vendors to scope, develop, and implement required functionality without reference to specific upstream systems.
Governance incorporated SOX and PCI compliance controls, structured content reviews and knowledge management across GPO centres, and formal UAT coordination for change requests, testing, and deployment of new functionality. Ongoing SaaS upgrade planning and feature enhancement oversight were embedded as part of standard change control and support operations for SAP SuccessFactors Compensation within Inchcape.

In 2016, Inchcape implemented Kerridge k8 ERP as its Distribution ERP solution across its UK retail estate, targeting dealer retail operations. The deployment focused on the dealership network and was project managed into 25 of Inchcape’s 65 UK dealerships, establishing a retail ERP backbone for parts, service and sales operations.
Kerridge k8 ERP was configured to support category-aligned capabilities typical of Distribution ERP, including inventory management, parts and service management, sales order processing, purchasing workflows and financial transaction posting. Configuration work emphasized dealership retail workflows and workshop operations, with the Kerridge k8 ERP configured to unify parts catalog, stock replenishment and order-to-cash processes within dealer sites.
The delivery model used an embedded project manager approach, with Systeam working inside the Inchcape internal delivery team to govern rollout activities and coordinate dealership cutovers. Operational coverage remained within the UK dealership network, and governance centered on coordinator-led rollout phases, local site enablement, and alignment of ERP configuration with retail, service and finance business functions.
