The implementation included configuration of payment rules, format transformation, and stewardship workflows to enforce compliance and reduce manual intervention. The Serrala Payments application was provisioned with role-based access controls and audit trails to support payment approvals and traceability.
Operational scope focused on corporate finance, treasury, accounts receivable, and shared services, consolidating payment execution and reconciliation activities under a single Payment Processing platform. Deployment aligned with finance and treasury process standardization, enabling consistent posting and settlement workflows across business units. Governance was established through policy-driven controls and segregation of duties configured inside the application.

Integrations centered on a direct linkage between Intrum’s Workday HR solution and the Zalaris payroll platform, with the Zalaris PeopleHub portal and mobile app providing employee self-service and first line support. The operational scope of the integrated deployment covered managed payroll, reimbursement, travel and time services for all Intrum employees in Norway, with Zalaris providing operational first line support and platform hosting for payroll execution.
Project governance was led by Zalaris in close collaboration with Intrum’s HR team, focusing on automating services, streamlining operational processes and implementing a digital payroll service with modern self-service interfaces. Outcomes reported include positive employee response to the new self-service solutions and an established operational model where Workday HCM supplies HR master data while Zalaris delivers payroll, time and travel execution for Intrum Norway.
