Operational tooling and lifecycle management were formalized, Solution Manager being preferred for test management and documentation management and HP QualityCenter referenced as an alternative for testing. The environment also relied on standard office productivity tools and an incident management tool to support day to day administration and user support for SAP ERP ECC 6.0 across business departments. Governance was executed through a Common SAP Competence Center organized into a functional division attached to the DFI of the Services-Mail-Parcels Branch and a technical division attached to the DSI of the Services-Mail-Parcels Branch, tasked with maintaining operational condition and driving evolution projects. Project managers were charged with process management, testing and business acceptance, implementation of developments, maintenance in operational conditions, user training, formalizing business requirements, impact analysis of patches and ensuring timely delivery of quality deliverables.

Program governance combined MOA oversight of the telephone banner and associated tools, project management for developments and deployment of new tools, updates to the documentary base, and controlled introduction of developments and new tools to users. Genesys CCPulse was embedded alongside these governance and rollout activities to align technical configuration, documentation and user adoption within contact center operations.
