The deployment targeted global financial management and supply management operations for its insurance and wealth businesses, using Infor CloudSuite Financials & Supply Management to consolidate core ledger and procurement processes into a cloud hosted architecture.
The implementation configured core financial and supply modules, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets and procurement and supply management capabilities inside Infor CloudSuite Financials & Supply Management. Configuration work emphasized standardized chart of accounts and enterprise data standards, with explicit Data Standards Integration activities to harmonize master data definitions and financial reporting structures.
Migration and integration work moved transactional history and master data from SAP ERP ECC 6.0 into the new environment as part of the Data Standards Integration project. Program coordination was managed globally, with change management leadership operating from Toronto between April 2021 and June 2021, and TRG international engaged as the SI to support deployment and cutover activities. Project statuses, deliverables and timelines were coordinated using Jira and Planview.
Governance work established a data governance framework and a change management plan focused on enterprise data standardization, and included implementation, communication and training plans for business and finance teams. The program manager reviewed Infor CloudSuite ERP capabilities for Manulife Global as part of the Data Standards Integration project to align operational controls and data stewardship across affected business functions.

Configuration emphasized statutory and management reporting, multicurrency support, and embedded audit controls for regulatory compliance. Automation focused on recurring billing cycles and period-end accounting workflows.
Architecture followed a centralized, modular deployment to allow product-line configuration while maintaining a single financial control plane. The solution design accounted for investment and treasury accounting touchpoints and for derivative and securities processing workflows where derivatives solution knowledge such as FINDUR, SUMMIT, Calypso, Murex or Sungard was desirable.
