In 2024, Matthews Real Estate Investment Services implemented Route4Me as part of a Transportation Management,Fleet Management initiative to automate route planning and dispatch across its nationwide network. The deployment targeted US fleet and last mile deliveries of time sensitive memorial products and was rolled out across dozens of sites to centralize scheduling and last mile execution.
The implementation concentrated on automated route optimization, dynamic dispatch workflows, route sequencing, and schedule consolidation to improve planner efficiency and equipment forecasting. Route4Me was configured to convert weekly manual planning cycles into minute level scheduling runs and to supply planners with route manifests and consolidated load planning to support fleet management tasks.
Operational scope covered US operations, fleet and last mile delivery teams, and planner and dispatch functions within logistics and facilities operations. Governance was restructured around centralized routing standards and standardized planning workflows to enable consistent dispatch procedures during rollout across dozens of sites.
