Oracle Legacy Oracle Cloud ERP Accounts Payable AP Automation ERP n/a 2019 2020
In 2019 Mitsubishi Ufj Financial Group United States implemented Oracle Cloud ERP Accounts Payable as part of an AP Automation program supporting corporate finance and accounts payable operations. The engagement focused on configuring Oracle Cloud ERP Accounts Payable alongside core financial modules to centralize invoice processing and ledger posting for the Americas reporting footprint. The implementation included configuration of GL, Payables and Receivables modules, setup of primary ledgers and reporting ledgers for Americas, and definition of transaction types, auto accounting rules and invoice templates. Customers and suppliers were migrated using FBDI templates and historic journals were migrated into the new environment, while account attestations were moved from BlackLine into the ARCS Cloud module where extract scripts were coded to pull data from ICI/BPS and the data warehouse, followed by profile and account migrations. Integrations were architected between Oracle Cloud PaaS components and internal systems such as BO Universe and the corporate Data Warehouse, with external feeds orchestrated through Control-M into Oracle GL. The team redesigned and implemented ICI/BPS feeds from Broadridge, consolidated PnL feeds including equity accruals, derivatives and FX into Oracle GL, and created new feeds for TBS and MBA reclassification journals and extended settlement journals, while bringing SBL feeds and journals into Oracle GL for MUS Canada and MUSA. Governance and operational readiness activities included identifying new cloud roles and data access aligned to existing R12 responsibilities, testing multi-month reconciliations between BlackLine and ARCS, exercising period management, group accounts and data mappings, and training users on the ARCS solution. Ongoing global support covered financial modules and reconciliation workflows, reconciling GL data between ICI, Apollo, Murex, the Data Warehouse and Oracle GL using custom reports consumed by Corporate Accounting and Product Control.

The deployment focused on Equities order management within a broader program covering front-office and middle-office trade processing across Credit/Fixed Income, Rates, and Equities, positioning FlexOMS as the firm-level Order Management solution for trading workflows. FlexOMS was configured to support standard order management capabilities including order routing, execution management, trade allocation, lifecycle processing, and pre-trade controls aligned to Equities desk workflows.
