Sage Fixed Assets was used alongside SS&C CAMRA, Blackrock Aladdin and SS&C PLM in daily accounting operations, with cash flow and security trading records maintained in Aladdin and CAMRA while capital asset activity was recorded in Sage Fixed Assets. The application supported month end balancing and the preparation of quarterly statutory schedules for Mortgage and Real Estate Investments, plus generation of inter-company transfer entries and property management commission journals.
Governance and process work included revision of procedures for process changes and improvements, providing supporting documentation for internal and external audit selections, and participation by accounting staff in system upgrades and accounting process projects. The deployment targeted Security, Real Estate and Mortgage Accounting and property management functions, aligning the Enterprise Asset Management application to established month end, reconciliation and audit workflows.
