In 2023, Rose Research Center implemented Medrio eCOA/ePRO within its Clinical Trial Management environment as a SaaS deployment in the United States. The center transitioned from paper records to Medrio’s electronic data capture and ePRO solution to collect both in-clinic and remote patient reported outcomes, focusing the launch on clinical trial data collection and site workflow efficiencies.
Medrio eCOA/ePRO was configured to support electronic data capture workflows and patient facing outcome collection, enabling structured electronic case report forms and scheduled ePRO administration for in clinic and remote visits. Study build processes were accelerated through the SaaS configuration, with study configuration, form logic, and ePRO schedules managed inside the Medrio application to enable near real time data visibility.
Operational scope centered on site coordinators and study teams across the United States, improving site level workflows for enrollment, data entry, and monitoring. The SaaS architecture reduced manual transcription steps and centralized electronic capture, which shifted operational governance toward digital validation rules and site workflow controls.
As implemented, the Medrio eCOA/ePRO deployment reduced transcription errors and missing data and enabled faster study builds and near real time visibility into patient reported outcomes.
