SAP Legacy SAP Concur Expense Expense Management ERP Financial Management n/a 2018 2018
In 2018 John Sisk & Son deployed SAP Concur Expense as its Expense Management solution to centralize employee expense submission and approvals across the Sisk Group. The work was delivered as part of a larger program that included upgrades and enhancements to COINS and BI360 ERP environments, the design and build of an enterprise data warehouse on Microsoft Azure, and the design and deployment of a new Work Winning application on the Microsoft CRM platform. The SAP Concur Expense implementation focused on standard Expense Management capabilities including employee expense capture, policy enforcement, multi level approval workflows, card reconciliation and electronic expense reporting. Configuration work emphasized expense policy configuration, approval matrix setup and automation of expense to finance posting processes consistent with accounts payable and project cost accounting workflows. Architecturally the deployment was aligned with cloud first principles for expense capture and reporting, and with enterprise data consolidation plans on Microsoft Azure. The initiative was executed alongside COINS and BI360 ERP enhancements and the Azure enterprise data warehouse build, enabling consolidated financial and project cost reporting pipelines while the Work Winning application on Microsoft CRM provided upstream project and client context for expense attribution. Governance and delivery were managed under a project management structure that covered configuration, testing and staged rollout to finance and project teams across the group. The program combined application configuration, data warehousing design and ERP enhancement tracks to establish consistent expense processes, approval controls and centralized reporting for finance and project accounting functions.

COINS Global Legacy COINS ERP Construction ERP ERP Services and Operations n/a 2006 2007
In 2006, John Sisk & Son implemented COINS ERP as its enterprise construction resource planning backbone, establishing a Construction ERP instance to manage finance and site-facing workflows. The COINS ERP deployment supports core functions across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, subcontractor control and procurement, with use by corporate finance teams, procurement and plant departments, and site quantity surveying teams responsible for payment certificates and order approvals. Configuration work concentrated on Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable modules, supplier master data and new supplier onboarding, purchase order creation and updates for subcontractors, and purchase invoice posting with GRN matching to the COINS ledger. The implementation includes subcontractor account setup and approval workflows, processing of scheduled payment runs, multi-currency payment capability in EUR, GBP, USD and CZK, and monthly general ledger journal processing inside COINS ERP. Documented operational integrations include use of the Revenue online ROS service for SIN and RCT verification, with Invoice RCT details posted into COINS OA to capture tax treatment for RCT purposes. Quantity Surveyors interact with the system to issue and validate payment certificates that finance reviews and authorizes before AP updates, and Procurement and Plant teams use COINS ERP to resolve creditor invoice, GRN and pricing queries. Governance and process controls center on supplier onboarding approvals requiring Financial Controller signatures, formalized payment run procedures and agreed timetables, and established query resolution workflows between surveyors, subcontractors and finance. Reconciliations and authorized documentation requirements are embedded in the COINS ERP operational routines to support audit and accounts processes consistent with a Construction ERP deployment.

Microsoft Legacy Microsoft 365 Collaboration Collaboration n/a 2019 2019
In 2019, John Sisk & Son implemented Microsoft 365 as its primary Collaboration platform. The deployment is aligned with a mid-enterprise footprint of approximately 2,500 employees based in Ireland, positioning Microsoft 365 as a corporate collaboration and productivity backbone across construction, project delivery, and corporate functions. The Microsoft 365 implementation includes core collaboration and productivity modules such as Exchange Online for email, SharePoint Online for intranet and document management, Microsoft Teams for synchronous collaboration, OneDrive for personal file storage, and the Microsoft 365 suite of Office applications. Identity and access management are managed through Microsoft 365 identity services, enabling single sign-on and centralized account provisioning consistent with Collaboration category best practices. Microsoft 365 is also observable on John Sisk & Son’s public website, indicating that Microsoft 365 services are surfaced alongside public-facing assets and content delivery. This presence suggests integration between the corporate Collaboration stack and web-facing channels for content publication and service continuity. Operationally the implementation supports project teams, site operations, finance, HR, and corporate communications, standardizing document control, file sharing, and team collaboration workflows. Governance is structured around Microsoft 365 controls, including centralized identity, permissioning and document lifecycle capabilities, to enforce consistent collaboration policies across the organization.
