Configuration work emphasized integration points with the utilities-specific CRM/B (ISU) solution to align billing and customer care data flows with financial posting and settlement processes.
The deployment followed a multi-landscape architecture encompassing SAP ECC, Portal, CRM, BW, BOBJ/BODS, BPC, and Solution Manager across ABAP, Java, and .NET platforms. Operational responsibilities documented for the SAP Basis Architect include installations and upgrades, support package application, software patching, performance tuning, capacity planning, system health checks, and Portal landscape upgrades, reflecting a sustained focus on platform stability and lifecycle management.

The engagement focused on establishing a single asset registry and standardized work order orchestration to support field maintenance and engineering teams.
HxGN EAM was configured with core EAM functional modules including asset master data management, work order management, preventive maintenance scheduling, inventory and spare parts control, inspection workflows, and mobile workforce enablement to support technician execution. The HxGN EAM configuration emphasized condition and reliability workflows consistent with Enterprise Asset Management best practices to improve operational consistency in maintenance execution.
The implementation covered operational business functions such as maintenance, operations, engineering, and procurement, with the HxGN EAM deployment intended to align field execution to centralized maintenance planning and asset data governance. VisualK led the implementation and was responsible for system configuration, role based access controls, and mobile application enablement for field crews.
Governance changes included introduction of standardized work order lifecycles, centralized asset hierarchies, and formalized data governance around asset master records and maintenance schedules, with VisualK supporting rollout planning and operational handover. Documentation and SOP alignment were part of the implementation to embed HxGN EAM into TECO Energy maintenance and operations workflows.
