In 2015 The Co-operative Bank implemented Oracle E-Business Suite as an ERP Financial deployment, executing Phase 1b to bring General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cash Management and Fixed Assets into a unified financial footprint. The program included a targeted data migration from five legacy general ledgers and concurrent Phase 1a work to deploy General Ledger and Data Relationship Management for master chart of accounts governance.
Implementation modules and configuration work centered on Oracle E-Business Suite core financials, with Data Relationship Management used to manage the master chart of accounts and FDMEE used to feed HFM for downstream consolidation. Functional tasks included mapping rules between legacy charts and the new GL chart of accounts, data conversion and customization, generating Pick Slip reports and Performa invoices as part of Order to Cash cycle automation, and clearing AR interface table entries to resolve import issues.
Integrations were explicitly implemented between Oracle E-Business Suite and Order Management, Inventory and Purchasing modules, and with Hyperion products to support financial reporting and consolidation. The engagement also addressed accounts receivable automation through an inbound auto lockbox implementation and troubleshooting of auto lockbox and journal approval workflow behaviours linked to employee hierarchy and GL relationships.
Governance and delivery followed AIM methodology, with requirement gathering, As Is analysis, system study and gap analysis documented by the implementation team. Operational support activities included SQL based backend diagnostics, priority handling of month end closing issues for O2C and P2P cycles, and stabilization tasks to close AP and PO modules during the rollout.

| The Access Group | Legacy | Access People HR ATS | Applicant Tracking System | HCM | n/a | 2020 | 2020 |
In 2020, The Co-operative Bank selected Access People HR ATS for an accelerated integrated HCM and payroll program covering roughly 3,200 employees, deploying the Access People HR ATS as part of a broader PeopleXD HR system and payroll managed services delivery. The project was driven by objectives to reduce HR and payroll cost, improve data quality and visibility, introduce self-service, and enhance user experience while providing a scalable platform in the Applicant Tracking System category.
Implementation followed an aggressive, stage-gated approach that commenced with an immediate kick-off to align milestones, governance, methodology and scope, and to finalize data migration planning. The Deploy stage built the PeopleXD HR configuration against defined business and functional requirements and scheduled training workshops, while the Review and Run stage executed a three week user acceptance testing cycle covering functional, end-to-end, integration and performance testing. A subsequent four week parallel run matched payroll results produced by the PeopleXD solution with the Bank’s existing payroll outputs before the November 2020 go-live, after which the teams transitioned to Business as Usual Live Support.
Technical and functional scope emphasized core HR data stabilization, payroll processing and employee self-service, with specific remediation work on pension salary sacrifice calculations and reconfiguration of job records following an unscheduled reorganisation. The Access team performed a deep dive on source data to surface and correct inaccuracies, and the program incorporated structured user acceptance testing and scheduled training to raise adoption. Operational controls included daily stand-up calls for issue resolution and manager-facing lunch and learn sessions that engaged approximately two thirds of managers without mandation.
Governance and operationalization moved from project to BAU with retained service management for payroll managed services and an emphasis on ongoing partnership to handle configuration changes and data quality. All project objectives and targets were reported as met to schedule and ahead of standard plans for similar deployments, and the Bank sustained payroll accuracy above agreed service levels while moving to a more visible and flexible monthly payroll process facilitated by Access People HR ATS in the Applicant Tracking System category.
