In 2023, TRM Fencing implemented Workbench Central to consolidate financial project management across its regional Queensland operations. Workbench Central was deployed as a Project Portfolio Management application to provide a unified platform for job costing, procurement and invoicing while improving visibility into project finances and automating work-in-progress and invoice workflows.
Stage 1 focused on job costing and financial project controls, delivering job-level cost capture, budget control and automated WIP accounting workflows. The initial configuration included project ledger mapping, cost code structures, invoice generation triggers and procurement purchase order linkage to support accurate job costing and billing.
Stage 2 introduced field mobility with an integration to Upvise and kicked off in early 2024, enabling field-to-office sync for site crews and mobile capture of plant utilisation and site records. The Upvise integration extended Workbench Central to surface plant and utilisation reporting in the office, closing the loop between site activity and financial project controls.
The implementation spans finance, project management, procurement and site operations across TRM Fencing in regional Queensland, accompanied by governance changes to automate WIP and invoice workflows and to embed project control processes. Workbench Central provides TRM Fencing with consolidated financial project management and improved operational visibility for tighter control of job costs and billing.
