Operational capabilities emphasized invoice processing workflows and guided buying controls, with the Ariba Network buyer account actively managed to govern supplier interactions and electronic invoice exchange.
Operational ownership spanned procurement and finance functions, with administration performed within the university and support touchpoints routed through the Finance Service Centre. The team served as a Designated Support Contact on Ariba Connect to manage service requests and maintain the Ariba Network buyer relationship.
Governance focused on formalizing operating procedures, the administrator designed Standard Operating Procedures for Ariba system administration to standardize configuration changes, access controls, and support escalation. SAP Ariba Invoice administration at the University of Sydney combined application configuration, supplier network management, and documented operational governance to sustain AP Automation capabilities.
