In 2017, University of the Cumberlands selected and began implementing Ellucian Banner ERP as its SaaS based Education ERP to consolidate institutional processes and integrate data across multiple campuses and its online school. The initiative replaced Microsoft Dynamics GP for enterprise resource planning scope, with selection driven by the need to manage rapid enrollment growth and unify student and institutional data flows.
The Ellucian Banner ERP deployment centered on Banner SaaS core student administration and registration capabilities, instrumented within the Ellucian Banner ERP ecosystem. The implementation leveraged Ellucian Ethos and Ellucian Analytics to provide a unified dashboard for institutional and student data and to enable centralized reporting and insight, with Banner Financial Aid and Banner HR slated for rollout in 2019.
Operational coverage included registrar and student services workflows, faculty access to student systems, and shared administrative functions across campus and online cohorts, consolidating registrations and institutional reporting.
