In 2006, Bell implemented CGI Tapestry Order Management as part of its Pegasus Sympatico program to consolidate order capture, provisioning and troubleshooting for consumer IP services in Canada. The deployment went live in October 2006 and was used for provisioning and order management across Bell's consumer IP footprint.
The implementation of CGI Tapestry Order Management focused on order orchestration and service provisioning capabilities, with inferred module usage that included Order Acquisition Manager and Service Manager. Configuration work emphasized centralized order capture, workflow orchestration for service activation, and embedded troubleshooting workflows consistent with Order Management functional terminology.
Architecturally the solution was positioned to interface with IP provisioning systems and operational support systems, delivering end to end control of the order lifecycle from acquisition through service activation. Integrations concentrated on provisioning interfaces, inventory reconciliation, and order status feeds into customer care and field operations teams supporting Canadian consumer services.
