In 2018, FPT Software implemented FPT akaLink as an internal Employee Engagement application. FPT akaLink was developed and deployed as a digital skill inventory and employee engagement platform to catalog employee skills, capture endorsements, and support project matching.

Governance was administered through HR leadership and integrated into existing staffing and training workflows, shifting endorsement and project assignment processes to rely on the akaLink skill inventory.
