In 2019, Safran Electrical & Power deployed HOROQUARTZ Time Management as a Time and Attendance solution across its manufacturing footprint. The deployment targeted an HR optimization program within Safran Electrical & Power, one of eleven companies in the Safran group, and was intended to improve the employee experience for nearly 12,400 employees across 12 countries.
The implementation used the Horoquartz eTemptation time and planning management capabilities to standardize attendance and absence recording, shift planning and schedule management, and operational activity monitoring. HOROQUARTZ Time Management was configured to provide centralized time collection and planning workflows while supporting localized time rules, leave policies and country specific legal requirements.
CGI was engaged to design the Core Model, provide project management assistance and adapt the solution to the different legislation in force across the deployment countries. The rollout covered 20 factories across France, Morocco, India, United States, Mexico and Germany, aligning factory level rostering and HR input streams to the Core Model and establishing localization patterns for configuration and compliance.
Governance of the program emphasized a Core Model approach with country level adaptations and project management oversight, intended to streamline HR processes, simplify employee self-service for time and absence and improve monitoring of factory activities. The initiative focused on operationalizing time and planning management across manufacturing sites without specifying post deployment outcomes or quantified results.
