In 2018, Dalakraft standardized on Insightsoftware BizView as its EPM application to centralize forecasting, budgeting, reporting and analysis across the organization. Dalakraft implemented their Insightsoftware BizView solution in 2012, configuring modules for forecasting, budget, reporting and analysis that deliver structured sales statistics and per customer contribution calculations. In 2019, Grilstad implemented Insightsoftware BizVIew as its EPM solution. The deployment provided a company wide reporting backbone, supporting separate departmental financial reports, consolidated corporate financial reporting, and operational reporting for factory sites.
BizVIew was configured to run a standard cost based calculation system for Grilstad's production, and the implementation encompassed financial reporting, production control workflows, and delivery precision control. Insightsoftware BizVIew was used to produce daily, weekly, and monthly delivery precision reports, and to generate financial reports for each business area as well as aggregate corporate statements.
The implementation integrated transactional feeds from the sales order system and delivery system to drive delivery precision reporting, and it collects data from purchasing, warehouse, and production systems. BizVIew consolidates these operational data streams together with data from the financial ledgers and it is fully integrated with Microsoft Dynamics AX, enabling detailed analysis of production cost deviations for each production run and each item number.
Governance and operational changes centralized reporting and enabled self service access to reports, reducing reliance on IT and external consultants. Insightsoftware BizVIew is described as a key piece in Grilstad's overall financial ecosystem, delivering faster time to value and less time spent on generating reports.

In 2017 Multiconsult implemented Insightsoftware BizVIew for EPM to standardize financial planning, reporting, and analytics after acquiring a company in September 2017 that was already using Bizview. Jan Helge Golmen, now Finance Director at Multiconsult, brought prior operational experience with Bizview from the acquired business and helped shape the rollout.
Insightsoftware BizVIew was configured to support core modules for planning and reporting, including budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and analytics. The solution provided capabilities to build interfaces, register custom data sets, and combine different data sources into a single datastore, enabling a first crucial report to be produced in a relatively short time.
The deployment scaled rapidly, and within less than two years BizVIew became a company-wide reporting, planning, and analytics platform used by more than 2000 employees. Operational coverage spans project management, budget and forecasting processes, management reporting, risk management, HR, and finance, with usage across local offices and centralized datastores consolidating multiple source systems.
Governance and adoption centered on extensive training delivered in local offices, delegating ownership for different functional areas to a small set of selected super users, and simplifying configurations to improve usability.
