In 2018, Williams Racing implemented Intellum Bloom LMS. The Learning and Development Manager, interim, led the initiative at Williams Grand Prix Engineering Ltd to centralize online learning using Intellum Bloom LMS. The deployment focused on providing microlearn content and a managed course catalog for employee training.
Implemented capabilities included microlearning modules, course enrollment and catalog management, marketed Lunch and Learn sessions, and program workflows for mentoring and manager level compliance training. Specific programs launched on the platform included Employment Law Update and Dignity and Diversity for Managers and Team Leaders. A mentoring programme was developed for rollout in September and microlearn content was used to accelerate uptake. The Learning and Development application Intellum Bloom LMS was used to host and track these modules.
Operational coverage extended to the Williams Racing workforce of approximately 690 employees, with over 500 employees attending Lunch and Learn sessions to date and about 200 employees recorded as having attended the manager level programs. The work referenced core competency development across departments and included employees across the company group where applicable. The rollout targeted managers, team leaders and general staff for compliance and skills programs.
Governance and process ownership remained with the interim Learning and Development Manager, who drove content marketing, enrollment workflows and alignment of performance reviews with new competency frameworks. The role also included responsibility for implementing a new performance management system scheduled for the September rollout and ensuring performance reviews are carried out.
