In 2017, Godfreys implemented Jedox BI. Jedox BI was provisioned as an EPM platform to centralize budgeting, financial reporting and operational reporting activities for Finance and related business functions at Godfreys.
The implementation concentrated on budgeting and P and L reporting capabilities within the EPM category, including configured budgeting models, consolidated P and L reports and drill down workflows that traverse general ledger and sub ledger levels to transaction detail. Jedox administration covered upgrades, enhancements, ETL changes and high level report building, with ODBC and MSSQL used to extract and stage data for Jedox based reports and spreadsheets.
Integrations included direct data feeds into Jedox via ODBC and MSSQL extracts and a structured import of financial budgets into the company s Pronto ERP to align budget and actual reporting. In 2017, the National Institute of Dramatic Art implemented Jedox BI as its EPM platform to centralize management reporting, planning, and analytic workflows for senior leadership. The engagement focused on delivering a suite of dashboards and reports for NIDA senior management and external stakeholders, including the development of self service reporting and dynamic analytics to inform key management decisions.
Configuration work included design and build of budgeting and forecasting templates and processes within Jedox BI, and implementation of annual statutory reporting and audit workflows for NIDA and the NIDA Foundation Trust. The implementation team administered ETL processes and developed multidimensional cubes and analytics, while building SQL queries to extract critical data for HR analytics, accounting analytics, purchasing analytics and ad hoc analytical support.
Operationally the BI environment was integrated into NIDA’s application estate through administration and data feeds from the accounting system Dynamics GP, the purchasing system Workplace and the timekeeping system TimeTarget, with Jedox BI serving as the consolidated analytic layer. Stakeholder liaison spanned finance, HR and procurement functions to ensure cube design and report semantics matched operational and compliance requirements.
Governance centered on embedding annual budget and forecast cycles into Jedox BI and formalizing report ownership and ETL administration responsibilities, executed in liaison with the implementation team. Process changes emphasized scheduled ETL orchestration, version controlled budget templates and controlled access to self service reporting to preserve auditability for statutory reporting.
The engagement included ongoing provision of financial analytical support to the CFO and senior finance staff, using Jedox BI outputs to surface accounting and purchasing insights. Jedox BI was positioned as the core EPM tool to support continued financial planning, reporting and stakeholder transparency at NIDA.

The implementation was provisioned on an internal server environment supplied by the firm’s IT team, then connected to the Finance/Practice Management system Aderant Expert to build a consolidated financials cube.
